Managing Director

Martin founded Bowden Accountants in 1998 and is a taxation specialist with corporate taxation
experience with international companies across a number of industries and countries. Martin has
gained his experience whilst working for “Big 4” accounting firms, and serving as Tax Manager
for two listed international companies.

Martin’s key skills include:

• Industry specialisations in mining and resources, retail and property. This has been gained from working with public and private clients in these sectors.

• Mergers and acquisitions – including determining the steps required to effect the transaction in a tax efficient manner (including consideration of the duty and tax consolidation implications).

• Tax Effect Accounting

• Tax Consolidation

• Financial Modelling/Bank Reporting

• Policy and contract construction review: associated with the development of tax risk management policies.

• Small Business structuring, including operations division 7A and unpaid present entitlements (UPE).
