Victorian Clean Technology Fund
VCTF is a specialist venture capital fund which invests in novel clean technologies, assisting in their commercialisation.
Our mission is to foster innovation in clean technologies and renewable energy, by supporting new enterprises who will provide pathways to net zero emissions for Australia.
We fill the critical gap between discovery and commercialisation, sustaining these new businesses to grow and develop through equity funding, mentoring and partnership opportunities.
How we invest
VCTF is an evergreen fund, with returns from successful ventures being reinvested in new opportunities. We have backed more than 30 companies across a broad range of areas, and a great many of these have delivered significant impacts both commercially and environmentally.
Our initial investment is typically up to $0.5 million, with potential for follow-on investment when an investee is poised to capitalise on some early wins. Generally, we will seek to co-invest with other sources of funding in order to leverage our investment.
Our requirement to reinvest returns means we give preference to investments with a clear commercial return and exit strategy.

Our Board
