About us
New England Solar Power was founded in 1997 by Rob Taber. Over the years, daughter Fiona and son-in-law Cameron have both worked in the business. It is now run by Nick who is the third generation to be passionate about solar energy. Long before government incentives brought in mass interest to this sector, New England Solar Power was designing systems to suit each and every customer’s needs, using our local knowledge and the best quality equipment. We did not start in solar when the government incentives did like many other companies and we will still be here long after they are gone. Since 2016, 750 solar companies in Australia have shut down, we are still here.
Why us?
New England Solar Power has been installing solar for more than 25 years. We only sell the highest quality products and are here to back them up. We don’t just sell solar, we innovate too. Over the years we have designed a unique method of ground mount framing, developed portable power solutions and revolutionised solar hot water with our patented DC hot water system. We are also working in a close partnership with the UNSW SMART research centre to develop a process to recycle solar panels at the end of their life. We don’t just sell solar, we live and breathe it!
