Motormum is a website dedicated to all types of car and motoring information. We aim to be a helpful and reliable source of knowledge. The information contained within this site is for all types of vehicles and relates to all the different parts and times of your life. This could be from your first car (perhaps an eco-car), to a family car, a mid-life crisis (sports car), an Electric Car, a Hybrid, MPV or 7‐Seater.

Here at Motormum we research, collate and analyze vehicle information (such as all cars with seven seats, so that you don't have to!

The UK is now becoming world leaders in Electric and Hybrid Vehicles. There are currently 43 Hybrid Vehicles available to buy in the UK. The above image shows a Mitsubishi Hybrid PHEV being charged at home.

In the future we will all have a home electric car charging point. There are currently 17 all Electric Vehicles (EVs) available to buy in the UK.

There are many options in the United Kingdom for Cars that have more than 5‐Seats. Motormum has listed all that are available from new. The new list includes 2019 models such as the Skoda Kodiaq.

There are also options for Second Hand 7‐Seaters. These are available slightly cheaper as there is no VAT to pay, some will have a lot more mileage. Examples include the Chevrolet Captiva which ceased being manufactured in 2015.

Estate Cars are longer, mainly 5‐Seat cars with large squarer boots. They are ideal for families as they give you plenty of space to carry stuff around. Examples include the Skoda Octavia, Mercedes Benz E-Class and BMW 5 Series Touring.

About Motormum

As a mother of four I needed a car with seven seats, whilst searching for a Seven Seater Car I discovered that it was increasingly difficult to get a definitive list (from all manufacturers) not just those at the top of Google. So after much deliberation I decided to start my own site (read more).
