G.C. Natural Horsemanship trains horses with respect, patience, and understanding. We start horses under saddle as well as offering further training and problem solving, in both English and Western disciplines, from our property in Meredith in South Western Victoria. We offer private lessons with your own horses, horsemanship clinics,  teach liberty and trick training, work with wild horses, and more! We have an extensive obstacle course which we use for all horses in training, clinics and come and try days. We are also lucky to adjoin the Bamganie State Forest, providing lots of great trail riding!

Latest News:

  • Waiting list for training: As of March 2023, our waiting list is now over 12 months! We currently cannot accept new names onto the list as training spots have become limited due to Georgia needing to adjust her schedule around school drop off and pick ups for her daughter Piper starting Prep in 2023 and Jimmy now having a job outside of the business.

  • We have a form to fill out to be added to the waiting list, please see the services page on the website to download the form to complete and email back to us to be considered for a training spot, we can not promise that you will secure a spot due to the above reasons mentioned. Thanks.

  • EQUITANA was wonderful! We were so thrilled to be involved after it being postponed since 2019. Georgia presented two education sessions on obstacle training on the Thursday and Friday, and also competed in the "Connextion Challenge".

  • Extreme Cowboy Racing competition- we have been really enjoying competing our personal horses in the exciting new sport of EXCA in Australia. If you want to get involved in this fun sport of obstacles and technical skills then our obstacle course is a great way to get started and learn some skills and practice different obstacles. Book into a clinic or private lesson and we can help you get started on obstacles, or refine and improve your skills in the arena for the elements of EXCA races such as roll backs, roping, lead changes etc.

  • CLINICS- Please get in touch if you would like to host a clinic, anywhere in Australia! (or overseas!). We have had a great start to 2023 with lots of clinics at home and at other locations.

  • Highlights of 2022: Competing in the Trainer's Challenge at The Man From Snowy River Bush Festival in April was certainly a highlight. The weather was challenging with lots of rain and mud, and choosing a mare who ended up being quite sticky footed made for further challenges! Georgia did a great job despite these challenges and was able to ride the mare at walk and trot, to finish 2nd in the competition.
