On Mount Falcon Station our cows are grass fed, not grain fed.
Grass of course is the natural diet of cattle. Our freerange cattle have less stress, are not pumped up with hormones or fed unnatural foods or additives. They are naturally less prone to disease and so antibiotics and other drugs are not needed.
The meat of freerange grass-fed animals is healthier for you and your family. Compared with grain-fed, caged beef, meat from grass-fed beef has less total fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, and calories. It also has more antioxidants such as vitamin E, more beta-carotene, vitamin C. It has a number of health-promoting fats, including more omega-3 fatty acids.
Mount Falcon cattle are free to roam the slopes of Mount Falcon, an idyllic setting near the Snowy Mountains in the upper reaches of the Murray River in New South Wales. Mount Falcon is just 35 kilometres from Mt Kosciusko. The winters are freezing and the summers are mild and warm.

Free Freezer
Our cryovac-packed meats will last up to 10-12 months in a freezer.
