I can’t see the folder that I just added in the menu. What do I do?

Logout and log back in to refresh the menu.

Can you compare between 2 versions of an article?

Highlight the article in folder explorer and click Version Control. Select the 2 versions to compare and click the Compare Versions Button.

I want to add an article review. Where do I do that? And can I get it to email someone when the review date hits?

Edit the Article Attributes > Expand the Article Review Panel > Select a User to Review from the drop-down list > Set the Article Review Time Period. If a review period is entered in months (x), the system will calculate the review date as (x) months from the Last Review Date.

Once the review period hits, the user specified will get both an inbox notification and an email notification. The user will need to login to the system to see the inbox notification.

How do I add a link that goes to a new article I created?

To link from inside another article, edit the content editor in your article, select some text or image in the content then click the Insert Link to Article/Folders/Elements button and select the new article.

How do I upload a document over the top of another document to update it?

Go to Document Manager > Search for the document to be replaced > Edit > Click the “Upload new version of the file to the server” radio button.

How does the preview button in the content editor work?

The preview button in the content editor only shows a preview of the content within the editor. To preview the entire article, click the Save button at the bottom right of the screen.

At the top of the page above the editor is will say “Save Successful” in green. Click the “Return to edit page” link. This will show the page outside of the editor. Click the preview article button from the menu bar at the top of the page.
