EAGLES Basketball Academy is definitely not the typical training or development progra,. EAGLES is an high energy basketball training program designed to keep young athletes highly engaged, challenged, and motivated both physically and mentally.

We understand the importance of individual skill development, but even more important is ensuring those skills are progressively utilised into team concepts in high repetition, making them part of the athletes game. Ultimately, basketball is a team sport, right?!

EAGLES focuses on building Basketball IQ, the understanding of the game where young athletes can be effective, flourish in the sport, and build confidence.

Suited for athletes who currently play Local Competition, Rep basketball for any Association or Competition and is looking to take the sport more seriously and have a greater opportunity to make a BNSW representative program in an association in Western Sydney.

Enrique campos
Coach Enrique is Basketball New South Wales 'Association Coach' Accredited and has been coaching within the Basketball NSW representative Metro Junior and Senior competitions for approximately 11 years and has been part of the High-Performance coaching staff for Talented Athletes Programs selections, State Performance Program Selections as well as being a Developing Athletes Program channel coach in 2019 and 2020 and is currently the Assistant Coach of Penrith NBL1 Women's team. Enrique is passionate about athlete development and growing the sport of basketball in Sydney's South West.

Eagles Basketball Academy is extremely excited to have Coach Bernie Slattery as our Term 2 Coach. Coach Bernie is one of the most highly regarded and highly experienced coaches in the country, having coached in the NBL, WNBL, Head of Basketball at Westfields High School (for many many years), Director of Coaching at Hills Basketball Assoc, and now currently the Director of Coaching at Penrith Districts Basketball Assoc and their NBL1 Womens Head Coach.
Coach Bernie's experience in player development will be a huge asset to any young aspiring athlete joining the program this term and willing to work hard and put in the effort necessary to experience effective growth in your skill and overall game.
