Female Superb Fruit-Dove seen by five members of the Eurobodalla Natural History Society on a field meeting to Donald's Creek. Not a species often recorded in the Eurobodalla.(Moderator's Note: A rare bird for the Illawarra and South Coast, but March-April are the months that some Superb and Rose-crowned Fruit-Doves move south for the winter!. I was out bushwalking the headland between Hat Head and Hungry gate when I heard the unmistakable calls of a Swift Parrot near Third Beach. I grabbed my binos and observed two feeding with loris and honeyeaters in the coastal banksia. Birds flew north not long after. eBird checklist

A single Yellow-tufted Honeyeater observed at the far end of picnic area this morning. (moderator'[s Note: eBird shows that there are no Yellow-tufted Honeyeater reports for the Clarence Valley generally, except further west and southwest of Coutts Crossing nearer to Nymboida. AKM)
