ABOUT

Since its inception in 2007, The Danger Ensemble has been dedicated to exploring the edges of contemporary and experimental theatre. Their journey has taken them across 16 countries and throughout Australia, resulting in 14 distinctive productions and events that explore content and form while dealing in bold visuals with powerful physicality.

Their pursuit of a contemporary theatre for an ever-evolving audience has led to collaborative engagements with notable organisations and venues. Among these are the Brisbane Festival, La Boite Theatre Company, La Mama, Boston Pops Orchestra, Factory Theatre, Queensland Theatre Company, Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, and Theatre Works. Through these endeavors, The Danger Ensemble strives to continually resonate with and reflect the dynamism of today's audiences.

a testament to the power of live theatre, using all the tools unique to theatre to provide a experience that can’t be imparted from a screen. It’s intimate and immersive, live and pulsing, and the risks and messes you see on stage are real and dangerous.
