Founded in 2004, Brisbane City Youth Ballet (BCYB) provides aspiring young dancers with performance opportunities and coaching up to a pre-professional level.

Performing twice a year to sold out audiences, each season sees story ballets come to life with astonishing sets and costumes in theatres such as the Brisbane Powerhouse, Griffith University’s Conservatorium Theatre in South Bank, and the Home of the Arts on the Gold Coast.

The company is committed to fostering the development of strong classical ballet technique with an emphasis on musicality and artistry. BCYB fosters the love of classical ballet through the thrill of live performance and nurtures friendships that last a lifetime.
