PAY IT FORWARD WITH AN ANGEL OF HOPE
Shane-Maree’s Angels have been touching the hearts of those in need of love, hope and care for many years and they continue to spread their message as more people and community groups become involved with this humanitarian project.
My Angel network of gifting was inspired by a near death experience in 1997 where I ‘bargained with God’ in prayer for a second chance. I promised to do good things by others if I could be given the opportunity to continue with my life. Well, the Ambulance doors opened at the local hospital and I was checked over and sent home four hours later on the morning of Christmas Eve 1997. All signs of pneumonia were gone from my body and my prayers were answered, I was blessed with the gift of my own life! I call that my Miracle!

My Story
That was 1997 and I am still keeping my promise. I have been Paying it Forward with Angels of Hope to patients with Cancer, heart disease and other degenerative illnesses. I also gift to families who have lost loved ones to health conditions they were unable to conquer and to those who have disabilities and special needs. Life can take us down many unexpected pathways and that is my reason for gifting my Angels of Hope to Homeless Shelters.
I have been Paying it Forward with random acts of kindness to the young women in the SHE Homes in Cambodia, Orphans in Bali, the Queensland Cancer Council, Salvation Army Hostels for Homeless Women and Children, Hopewell Hospice & Paradise Kids - Gold Coast, the Daniel Morecombe Foundation, the patients at Hopewell Hospice, Royal Childrens Hospital Brisbane (now known as Lady Cilento Hospital), Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina Hospital, John Flynn Hospital - Tugun, Tweed Heads Hospital, Ballina Hospital, Beaudesert Hospital, Nimbin Hospital and to many people I meet on a daily basis that I am drawn to by a feeling... or a look. Since relocating to Adelaide in South Australia, I have personally gifted to patients at the old Repatriation Hospital at Daw Park for a few years before it closed it's doors in 2007. I have been gifting Angels of Hope to the Children and families at Ronald McDonald House in Adelaide since 2017.
Angels of Hope are also gifted to those unfortunate enough to not only be struggling with their illness, but are unsupported, fearful and alone - helping them believe that someone does care about them.
I believe that one person can make a difference and if my Angels of Hope can deliver a heartfelt moment of peace, a feeling of warmth or a smile, then we have achieved a wining situation with many Blessings. This is an ongoing project as I will never run out of people to share hope, love and comfort with. I hope you are able to share my vision and help me get the message out there that random acts of kindness for those who can do nothing in return is a wonderful way to show that we care.
Angels of Hope have also been gifted to guests at a wedding. What a beautiful way to share love. Angels of Hope are also Angels of Friendship, Healing, Compassion, Thanks, Gratitude, Love, Joy, Celebration and anything we want them to be at any time. Angels of Hope have been gifted to families attending Memorial Services at Heritage Brothers Funeral Services at Burleigh Heads - Hope is something we all need during the challenging times of our lives and my Angels are that reminder for me of the Hope I needed when I felt my own life slipping away.
If you or someone you know would like to sponsor Angels of Hope for gifting to patients in hospitals or to charity groups etc, contact me and join the Rotary Clubs, Bowls Clubs, Kiwanis and other Community organisations that gift Angels of Hope with me each Christmas Eve. It is the gifting this time of year that is my celebration of my own when I was blessed with my healing miracle. It brings me such joy to be able to share Angels of Hope with friends that I have not yet met. I have been so fortunate on my journey to have met so many amazing people and to have seen such courage and spirit as I have been welcomed into their very personal and sacred space. Angel Blessings and Love.... Shane-Maree
