Western Port Christian Family Church in Tyabb has been a pillar of the community since 1985. Our congregation is well-established but ever-evolving, made up of all ages and life stages.

Our Mornington campus merged with Western Port Christian Family in 2023, having been an active member of the Mornington community for over 40 years prior. We’re committed to sharing the Gospel message in the local community.

With our foundation scripture of Isaiah 58 as a framework, empowered by the Holy Spirit as demonstrated by Jesus in Luke 4:18-19, we are a church deeply interwoven with our community, working collaboratively to embody the transformative love and grace of Jesus. Fuelled by unwavering faith, a Word-centred focus, and a commitment to unity, we envision a vibrant and welcoming community where every member passionately contributes to the well-being of our neighbours.

Bible Study

Whether you are new to faith or a seasoned believer, you are welcome to join one of our small groups. They are a wonderful way to connect with others, grow in your faith, and experience God’s love and grace.

Join One of Our Activity Groups

Whether you have a love of knitting and crochet, a passion for creative writting or a flair for drawing we have a group for you! Our knitting groups meets every Monday morning and the creative writting and drawing group meet fortnighly on a Tuesday evening. Chat to us for more information.

Kids Church

Kids are a blessing from God, and we want to help them discover His amazing plan for their lives. During the main message, we have a special program for primary school aged children, where they can enjoy music, games, crafts, and build a personal relationship with God.

Ladies Group

After a period of rest we are relaunching our Ladies Group in 2024. We plan to meet regularly to share our joys and struggles, pray for each other, and serve God together.

Men’s Breakfast

Men don’t miss out on our Men’s breakfast, where you can enjoy a hearty meal, a powerful message, and a great company. We meet once a term to fellowship, learn from God’s word, and encourage one another.

Music Team

Do you have a gift for music or media? Do you want to use your talents to glorify God and bless others? Then our Music and multimedia team is the place for you. We are always looking for singers, musicians, sound engineers, and video operators to join our team. Come and chat with us today.

At WPCF, we believe that God is our provider, and we are blessed to be a blessing. We give generously towards the mission and ministry of the Church.
