Australia Day Swim

Australia Day Swim I am on the far side with a black top and iPad. The video password is my post code. The water was very cold -1.8.

Sunset in Antarctica

1119 RAW images, at 15 second intervals, taken with a Canon 6D then processed in Adobe Lightroom and LRTimelapse then output at 24fps.

The sun set at 1:29 am, I also used a tracker but the battery ran out as you will see in the video.

Antarctica Time Lapse

Antarctica – 1334 images, at 10 second intervals, taken with a Canon 6D, then processed in Adobe Lightroom and LRTimelapse output at 30fps 4K.

Penguin IRB

Matt a fellow expeditioner captured this video and was kind enough to let me share it with you.

Matt was out in an IRB when a Penguin jumped in, looked around and jumped out.

Time-Lapse

I have been experimenting with Time Lapse photography here are some of my examples.

The below exposure started at around 11:00 PM and continued for about the next fours hours. One shot was taken every 15 seconds to produce 1021 images then imported into Adobe Lightroom and exported to LRTimelapse to produce the final video at 24 frames per second.

Another attemp I started at 1:30 AM but its short as the camera stopped taking images (only 67 every 15 seconds) after about 17 minutes as the external battery unexpectidly ran out.

Skiway runway

A few pictures from the small ice runway 11kms from station, its used for small aircraft that performed scientific monitoring. We have satillite to fix and took a few pics of the Bazler and Twin Otter

Trip to Wilkins Aerodrome

I had to go on an urgent job to fix a network issue at Wilkins Aerodrome (Ice runway about 70km away), here are a few pics (I traveled by helicopter).
