Tipperary Church

York - Western Australia

Situated 11 kms from York in the beautiful Avon Valley, Tipperary Church was built in 1892 to serve the religious needs of a small community centred on Tipperary Farm. The church was in regular use for Sunday services, weddings and baptisms until the early 1960s.

The church was sold into private hands and was converted to a unique home with a beautiful garden by Bryant and Tedye McDiven over a 20 year period from the mid 1970s. In the early 2000s it was converted into B&B accommodation and in 2015 it was converted back into a private residence.
