NEW ZEALAND - Services Sector
We took over and reformed a company in NZ that had six divisions: Accounting | Project Management | Architectural Design | Strategic Asset Management & Transport, whilst delivering the emergency services contract for the entire South Island and an $800M payroll contract for the New Zealand Government.
WESTERN AUSTRALIA - Manufacturing
We were hired as ‘transformation’ specialists by the owners of one of Australia’s largest and most respected flat glass processors and distributors. Key to this role was to analyse the business and propose solutions for reform with a focus on culture, reduction of costs and increased profit, whilst helping deliver a $7.5M CAPEX program.
AUSTRALIA - Marine bio-regional planning / oceans / fisheries policy
With the support of Shimano and the worlds most respected brands - Yamaha, Honda, Evinrude, Tohatsu, BRP, Polaris, Suzuki - and a raft of organisations, we built the largest cross-sector platform ever developed in Australia for the light marine, manufacturing, outboard engine, aqua culture, recreational angling, commercial fishing, seafood and chef sectors.
AUSTRALIA - Aged care
We took over and reformed one of the largest community aged companies across SW Western Australia that delivered services to over 3,000 clients across six regional locations. We succeeded handing the NGO over to a new full-time CEO, after 9-months of hard work, in great shape.
AUSTRALIA WITH GLOBAL SIGNIFICANCE
We were engaged by global manufacturers to lobby the Federal Government to develop an emissions platform for spark driven engines in Australia compliant with USA EPA Regulations and we succeeded. The key was securing Federal Ministerial exemptions for the Defence Force, Surf Life Saving Australia and remote / indigenous use.
QUEENSLAND - Indigenous NGO
We raised $9.5M for a QLD based Indigenous NGO specialising in drug and alcohol rehabilitation. With success rates in-excess of 70% across all of their programs, we secured a joint funding proposal between the State and Federal Government over a 7-year funding period.

SMEA was engaged to draft the Scoping Paper for the Manjimup Shire with regard to the $9.5M TRAIL BIKE HUB.
The paper was submitted to the Shire in late May 2022.
The exciting transformation contract with Walshs Glass comes to an end in June 2022. However, Walshs has asked up to stay on and manage their workers compensation portfolio.
