Maria Amato (GAICD) is the founder of Results Management, a consultancy firm established in 1994 that provides change management and management accounting services. Maria is passionate about delivering solutions to streamline business processes to increase operational efficiency and profitability for her clients as well as educating her clients to become financially literate to aid with decision making and business growth planning. Maria has over 25 years’ experience collaborating with clients in the arts, entertainment, and service sectors with demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategic planning, risk management, sponsorship development, corporate governance, and stakeholder management. She is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company directors, a qualified forensic accountant and registered BAS agent.

She currently serves as the CEO for the Australian Independent Record Labels Association and runs the national Women in Music Mentor program aimed at empowering women in the Australian Music industry to progress their career and leadership aspirations.

In addition, Maria is also the treasurer and board member for the Worldwide Independent Network (WIN) and Adelaide City of Music. She has held former positions as Board member for The Anchor board for Reeperbahn Festival from (2018-2021) The Australian Institute of Music from (2017- 2019), Music Victoria from (2012 – 2014) as well as CEO/CFO of the prestigious Melbourne International Film Festival (2010-2014)
