About Us

MG Consulting Australia is a leading Australian company focussed on delivering exceptional and innovative energy management solutions, which are tailored to meet our client’s specific requirements.

We develop, engineer, procure and construct a range of energy management solutions, ranging from: commercial solar systems, lighting upgrades, energy audits, monitoring or policy advice.

We pride ourselves on the fact that all our solutions exceed the Australian Standards, legislative requirements and pertinent international standards. What’s more, we are committed to OH&S, quality, environmental management and have a strong focus on customer service.

Consulting

MG Consulting Australia has a highly qualified and experienced team of measurement and verification professionals (CMVP) who are certified to identify potential energy savings within an organisation. We also conduct: Energy Audits, Energy Management Systems, Measurement and Verification, and General Energy Studies.

Organisations typically commission energy audits to improve their energy performance, reduce energy consumption and achieve financial and environmental benefits, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions abatement. We offer Type 1, 2 & 3 Energy Audits as specified in AS3598:2014.

We use the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP) to conduct energy and peak load savings analysis. This protocol enables best practice verification results of energy efficiency, water efficiency, and renewable energy projects in commercial and industrial facilities.

Sound advice is only one part of an integrated approach to energy management. Energy efficient upgrades, energy monitoring and commercial solar systems all contribute importantly in helping to improve energy performance, including energy efficiency, use and consumption.

Energy Efficiency

MG Consulting energy efficiency upgrades enable organisations to do more with less. Lighting upgrades, timers, HVAC upgrades and sensors all can be installed, modified or replaced to noticeably reduce energy usage and lead to substantial cost savings.

We have successfully implemented a lighting upgrade for the QVB Building in Sydney, saving more than 190MWh p.a. This project consisted of 1200 lighting fixture upgrades installed out of trading hours.

HVAC upgrades, timers and sensors have also been used to great effect within 30 educational facilities saving substantial amounts of energy whilst maintaining existing occupancy comfort levels.

Energy efficient upgrades is only one part of an integrated approach to energy management. Commercial solar systems, energy monitoring and energy audits all contribute importantly in helping to improve energy performance, including energy efficiency, use and consumption.

Currently incentives are available for energy efficient upgrades, reducing the upfront cost whilst increasing the return on investment.
