Why should I enter my work?

What do I need to submit?

You'll need to submit a non-commercial motion design project, along with a brief description of the project, some information about yourself, your role in its creation, and any relevant technical details. Make sure to review the submission guidelines for specific requirements and format specifications.

What are the judges looking for?

Our judges are looking for originality, creativity, technical skill, and a clear concept in the submitted works. They will assess each entry based on creative and innovative ideas, visual impact, storytelling ability, and overall execution.

AEMA is open to young and emerging motion designers under the age of 25 residing in Australia or New Zealand. We welcome submissions from students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals. LGBTQIA+, Indigenous and otherwise culturally, ethnically or linguistically diverse people are encourager to enter!

What could I win?

Winners will receive a variety of prizes from our fantastic sponsors depending on the category, an official certificate, and major bragging rights.
