The Shire of Nannup and OTIUM Planning Group invite the Nannup community to a consultation this Monday 29 April 2024 for the Nannup Arts, Recreation, Tourism and Liveability (NARTL) Masterplan. No RSVP is required. Tea and coffee will be provided. The consultation seeks to ensure future needs of the community can be met appropriately with potential development options for the site. Prohibited Burning Period Extended

The Shire of Nannup has extended the Prohibited Burning Period until midnight on Tuesday 14 May 2024. During this time, lighting a fire is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and is an offence under the Bushfire Act 1954. This includes campfire and fire pits for camping and cooking. Pizza ovens and solid fuel BBQs are only allowed when fire danger rating is moderate or below. Check Emergency WA for the current fire danger rating (https://www.emergency.wa.gov.au/#firedangerratings).
