Like the Siemens PLC solutions VIPA offer Profibus and Profinet fieldbus and in addition CanBus, CanOpen, DeviceNet, EtherCat, Interbus, ModbusTCP, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, 3964R, RK512, ISO on TCP, S7 functions, RFC1006. The VIPA HMI rather than being programmed with WinCC or WinCC Flexible, is instead programmed with Movicon SCADA software.
