There are basically no rules for arranging pillows on your bed. This is perhaps the only part of your bedding where totally anything goes, no restrictions whatsoever. People are different, some are excited by messy stuffs, others neat, some prefer trends while others an order. But everyone is design-conscious, to their own designs, trendy designs or whatever design type, everyone likes something alluring and inviting.
Stacked or Standing pillows
After carefully stretching your doona covers, the next question becomes what you will do with your pillows. Well, you can stack them neatly for a simple and refined look. This is the simplest; just take two pillows and neatly place them on top of each other. Alternatively, take your pillows and arrange them on one end of your bed in rows. Let the larges sets form the back row with decorative pillows on the front row. Try mixing the two with the stacks forming rear rows.
Rolled pillows
For plain coloured bed covers, you may need to add some touch of creativity. From your stacked or standing pillows, roll one from either the front or back row. If you have those all-square pillows that you came with your quilt covers as a set, rolling them over defines a new dimension while giving your bed a nice new look.
