This model is the inferior version with the S3 processor overclocked to 1.7Ghz along with the Adreno 220 GPU instead of the advanced and more power efficient Krait S4 processor with Adreno 225 GPU. nice phone.... bang for buck
Coming to the S3 chipset its still not as old as u all who r commenting so chill. Its can easily handle all the apps u throw on it. Coming to the heating of phone its normal ok and its in S4 chipset version also. This is because of the inbuilt battery. But nothing to worry.
The phone is really a good phone at least much much better than Xperia S. I had seen the benchmark test nd cle...

Superb Design
only two things disappoint me.
1. The colour shown here named as Gradient metal is a Pure black phone. I was expecting the Sky blue / Silver version of this phone as the images indicating it.
2. Packaging should have done with more cautiously as I have notice the Phone box was in a brown flipkart box with loosen blister plastics.
The One S is still look superb in black.
The battery was pre charged about 70% when I switched...

WOW!!
S3/S4 doesn't matter this phone is brilliant. Have been using this phone for 1 week and loving it.
Interface is way cooler than S2 [event s3 ad note 2 as samsung has failed to improve touchwiz]

wait for nexus 4
nexus 4 by google is gonna hit the Indian market by the end of November....nexus 4 has specs similar specs as that of s3 with an improved processor and 2GB of ram....its gonna be priced at nearly 25k for 16GB of internal memory....
its worth waiting for nexus 4....if u want ur hard earned money to be spent on somethin worth it....

HTC Onedurful Superb handset...First try and then decide
Firstly, i m a bit disappointed with Flipkart.For months, it has been saying that this device is out of stock. I hunted for this device, especially the black anodised version.Luckily i m the proud user of two devices. One i got from reliance digital.Black colour and the other at vodafone store for my wife.It came with offer with beats headset.both priced around 25k each.

-Perhaps the best dual-core processor phone (with S4)

Negatives:
-The performance was due to 1.5 S4 processor, which is not available in Indian version at the moment. It's old generation 1.7 S3 processor. Inferior to new generation 1.5 S4 processor.
- Cost is almost equivalent to HTC One X (One X min. price: Rs. 33,999/- & One S min. price: Rs. 33,590)

Nearest Competitor - Samsung S2
Highs:
1. Best Colour Display, better than any of the phone in competing range!
2. Super Smooth Touch, Super Amloed +
3. Super Quick Processor
4. Inbuilt Keyboard - One of the best!
Lows:
1. Camera produces shaky images in night even with flash-light on !
(Compensation - Super Colour Display makes any picture look amazing, its only when you see it on any other device, you realize the dullness in pictures)

Awesome DESIGN, great CAMERA, Definitely one(S) among the BEST.....
but this smartphone is definitely among the best...
Although it has lost some sheen after losing the snapdragon S4 processor but the 1.7GHz s3 is not bad either
this phone has a snappy camera, almost equivalent to the HTC one x and the new sense 4 camera suite is awesome!!
Display is very good and the 4.3" display just adds to it!
Android 4.0(ICS) experience is spectacular as we have come to expect!
