Tony Moore

Mr. Tony Moore, age 39 of River Road, Hyden, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Shannon Medical Center in Los Angelo, TX. Tony was born on March 01, 1975 in Defiance, Ohio, the son of Patricia Kistner Moore Rice. Tony had been a life long resident of Leslie County, with the exception of having lived in Texas for a short time. Tony enjoyed fishing, camping and riding motorcycles. Most importantly, Tony cherished the time spend with his grandchildren and being involved in their lives.

Other than his mother, Tony is preceded in death by one sister: Shari Campbell; Alma Eversole and grandmother: Bess Newton.

Tony leaves surviving, mother of his children: Audrea Moore of Lancaster, Kentucky; three daughters: Keesha Moore and fiancé, Justin Lewis, Alexis Coots (Dustin), and Olivia Moore, all of Hyden, Kentucky; four brothers: Tommy Hopewell (Rhonda), and Donnie Kistner, both of Hyden, Kentucky, Dwight Hagans of Hazard, Kentucky, and Mike Hagans of Lexington, Kentucky; four sisters: Sharon Saylor (Leonard) of Barbourville, Kentucky, Kim Hall (Michael) of Wooton, Kentucky, Polly Sizemore (Charles) of San Angelo, Texas and Melinda Hagans of Hazard, Kentucky; two cherished grandchildren: Sophia Moore and Zoey Lewis. A host of other family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Sam Baer, Roger Wolfe & Ben Mosley officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore Family Cemetery at Hyden, Kentucky. The Moore family will receive friends for visitation from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Friday evening, and from 11:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M., Saturday evening, all at the funeral home chapel.
