Massapequa Man ID'd As Victim Following 2-Vehicle Crash At Long Island Parking Lot

A 44-year-old who died in a Long Island crash has been identified by police.

Christopher Biviano, age 44, was identified as the man killed in a Sunday, Aug. 13 crash in Plainview, police announced.

On Tuesday, Aug. 15, Nassau County Police announced that Massapequa resident Christopher Biviano was the man killed in a Plainview crash just a few days earlier.

The crash happened on Sunday, Aug. 13, just after 11:30 a.m.

Biviano was turning left out of the Capital One parking lot, located at 144 Manetto Hill Road, in a 2022 GMC.

As he was making the turn, a 24-year-old driver in a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee collided with Biviano’s car as it was traveling south on Manetto Hill Road.

Both Biviano and the second driver, whose name has not yet been released, were transported to local hospitals.

Biviano was pronounced dead by hospital staff.

The second driver is currently in serious condition, police said, and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
