Title : MENSWEAR Designer for Marc Ecko Cut & Sew
( will be reporting to Marc Ecko & Design Director)
Description
•Prepares execptional digital vector sketch designs , to express the fit, drape, styling and build of final product. Not bubbly cartoons that look like something from a free vector site. Proportionate. Realistic. Detailed.
•Can prepare and adapt to rigorous systems of design management; from managing and expressing size grade, to detailing out technical specifications and bill of materials for all product classifications.
•Responsible for administration and follow up of product design process that they author. No passing the BUCK. Work product to include preparation of/for technical packages and presentation boards
•Responsible to correspond with vendors overseas & domestically.
•Meticulously Reviews and maintains technical accuracy of all design sketches and make revisions as needed.
•Does not bitch & moan or act like a passive aggressive self loather. WE. DO. NOT. FEEL. THAT.
•Can take direction and knows that TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK!
•Can commute and won’t begrudge it. Will work in both NYC office & occasionally at Marc Ecko’s private design studio in NJ.
Qualifications
•Exceptional product and fabric knowledge and understanding of BETTER MENS garment construction.
•Strong literacy for/of proper menswear garment construction.
•AAA organizational and communication skills.
Computer knowledge:
•Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop, Microsoft Excel-
•Google Drive products and cloud file management.
(Sketching is a plus! Someone with a quick but strong hand style and croquis skills is a bonus!!! Don’t send over “garbage” bubbly ass sketches!)

Krit! Thanks for this opportunity! This is the first music video I’ve ever directed– I am a lucky dude to get this canvas to paint on.
First time I heard this record, it made me think of “relativity"— space, time-
It is "contemplative”.
Krit’s lyric is simple, and elegant. I wanted to allow the viewer to sense his effortless ability to be thoughtful – but never heavy handed.
This inspired me to reflect on the simple yet genius work of Charles and Ray Eame’s. If you don’t know who they are, shame on you.
The video is an homage to their 1977 short film “Powers of Ten”.
