Sasha is put in the position of team captain once again when everyone hesitates to opt in to Bran's Fire Star protection plan. I detest beer. Kept getting told in college that it was an acquired taste. To which I replied why? Why aquire a taste for something that I don't like and isn't good for me?

It is always so weird to me that people look oddly at women for liking beer. I love an icy cold beer, I will drink a glass of wine but all too often it gives me a headache. However when at work cocktail events, if women get a beer it is all too often mentioned by others. Quite annoying

I used to love an ice cold beer when grilling. And the lukewarm ones they sell at baseball games. Now I’m more of a margarita woman, hold half the alcohol, please.

Blame or Thank my Irish blood but I love beer! Craft Brewery visits are a favorite pastime. And Harp & Guinness Black&Tan is a favorite especially since I've achieved a successful pour!

It depends on the beer for me. I've discovered that I prefer mine icy cold and lighter or amber. There's a local brewery near me that has an amber called Ruby Bloom (Bloomington Brewing Company) that I adore. I don't drink anything alcoholic all that often but I have sampled a number of NA beers that are good, too. Guinness even has one called Kaliber that is pretty good.

When I was younger I did drink quite a lot of beer around a table with friends after work. Since I learned to like beer in the UK rather than the US, I like my beer dark and chewy and warm. Plus, Portland OR (USA) has probably as many craft beers as we do lawyers, so there's are so many choices!!

Really don’t like beer! I remember my friends in college saying ‘you have to learn to like it’. My answer ‘no, really don’t’!

Great book! I never acquired taste for beer. Gin and tonic in the cooler months and Pinot Grigio is my summer favorite.

I like a nice cold beer especially in the hot summer time. A good Alpine Beer (Canadian) or a nice pre mixed drink like Mike's Hard Lemonade goes down with a good burger.

Used to love beer. Sadly after I had my son my body stopped letting me drink. Anything alcoholic just gives me the headachy hunger over feeling. I skip right over the fun buzzed phase. Sigh 🤷🏻‍♀️

Never really cared for beer, I’m Italian and I don’t like wine either…I’m a scotch drinker.

I don’t like beer at all, but love all kinds of hard cider and mead. Give me pint of Magner’s with a shot of black currant, and I’m in heaven.

I don't like beer. It's some weird inherited thing with the women in my family. It's too bitter and I don't think I should have to train myself to drink/eat something I don't like. Sorry. That ran off the rails a bit.

I always thought I was adopted because I don't like fish/seafood, beer or smoking, lol! I look too much like my family for that to ve the truth. I do like wine and some of the sweeter drinks.

I’m with Sasha, I don’t like beer. Chilled wine however is delicious.

I like cold beer in any season. But I love dark beer! Samuel Smith's Double Chocolate Stout when I can find it. Dragon's Milk is another good one. I don't like lite beers or beers that are too hoppy.

Never been able to even stand the smell of it, let alone drink it. Plus now am gluten intolerant, so no huge loss. Lol.

Shiner from Austin, TX!! Great beer! 🍺

I love the smell of beer but don't like the taste. I admit that is strange.

I love a good cold Dos Equis with a wedge of lime.

I like beer. It makes me a jolly good fellow! 😁

When I could drink ... nothing beats a pint of Guinness. In Australia we have a brewery called Little Creatures that does a wonderful red ale - great winter beer. But what I love about beer is the variety of flavours and styles. Used to love Samuel Adams, Grolsch, Corona ... so many great beers. I can no longer tolerate alcohol but there are some great 0% beers. Guinness does one, Amstel (can't get that in Aus though), James Squires, Peroni, Asahi ... all very drinkable

I was lucky enough to go to the Guinness brewery in Dublin and have my first Guinness. I enjoyed it very much but the one I had here in the States didn’t come close to the taste of the original 🥲. I do enjoy a cold beer with pizza or Mexican food here in California.

I like a nice cold beer in the summer. I love a beer and a burger on occasion, I use to go for pizza and a beer.

No on the beer for me. But I enjoyed seeing Sasha’s character develop. She had no idea who she was

Loved this trilogy!

I love the fact that although Bran & Riley start the path of personal secrets being revealed; Annika’s secret sends all of them to the next level of connecting, opening, & creating the united team they need to become.

Everyone’s secret is out. Had to pull the books back out to reread this series

Whenever I read a Nora book and mermaids come up I automatically think of Annika! She’s one of my favorite characters!

I was so surprised, when I found out Annika was a mermaid.❤️Nora, really brought the trilogy over the top, with that revelation!!! This is another one of my favorite trilogies.❤️❤️❤️

I'm rereading this series right now. I like it, but not my favorite. My favorite, I think, is the Inn Boonesboro trilogy.

I remember thinking that she was something other than human, and something of the sea did seem like a logical way for her to have come across such a varied amount of coins, upon which she placed no value other than sentimental. More of a "well then, of course" than surprise.

I LOVED this series SO MUCH!!!! 💜💜💜

Aww.. Anni.. she is very sweet. She is pure of heart. It was a great turning point for the team as now they can truly understand each other.

3 of the 6 had taken oaths to keep their secrets. Annika was the only one with something rare to lose by telling her secret. Yes, Riley could have been punished but nothing would have been taken away permanently. That Annika gave up her secret to save Sasha says a lot about her character. I love how Nora Roberts develops her characters and then weaves them together in the book. It is one of the main reasons I keep coming back to her books. Most I have read many times.

Love Annika. I think where Sasha was the soul of the group, Anni was the heart.

Annika is such a pure soul! But, Nora Roberts, how do YOU pronounce her name?

She's such a beautiful & innocent soul. But she makes me laugh a lot. My favorite triolgy.... that's a hard one, but maybe the Circle Trilogy? I love so many really.

I might be the only one but i didnt care for Annika. Just found her too annoying.

This is my favorite book in the series. I LOVE Annika!

I suspected mermaid when Sasha saw the jewels in the ocean. It took me a while to get that the mermaid in the ocean and annikah were one and the same. 😂 I usually figure it out faster. I just loved her character from minute one and felt very protective of her.

Love this trilogy! 🥰

I love how she develops. All the unity and friendship development is awesome in this series. This trilogy would make some awesome movies

Annika loves and cares for the whole group. When she saw Sasha in trouble, she didn’t think twice about what she had to do to save Sasha. She bring life and sweetness to them. I love her energy and spirit.

Annika is a sensitive caring person. I love her. What an asset to your story

Beautiful graphic on the post. This was one of the most beautiful moments in the story, and it confirmed what we all suspected.

I figured as much because of the coins.

Annika’s unconditional love and acceptance is what makes her such a beautiful character

All of these great quotes are making me smile - time for a(another) reread of this series!

Annika is such a lovely character

Nora and Laura: Now you girls know that's like getting 3 wishes from a genie in a bottle, So I couldn't do it. I believe like Sawyer said that if you go back in time to see a loved one special event in history something could go wrong with the time continuum and we may not exist or a number of other things could happen. You can't change your past or future. Just go day by day doing the best you can. So sorry for rambling.

One of my favorite things about this series is how each of the guardians have their own special "thing" but they all work so well together! To answer the question, I would want Sawyer to take me back to when I still had my Daddy so I could sing with him again. I still hear him when I sing alone, but I don't sing much anymore. It hurts.

Just reread these and, tbh, I liked them significantly better than when they came out. To your question, I’d want to be with my besties Kylie and Melody and experience all of the locations Nora’s books have taken us. Like a live and on site/in time book club extravaganza! I’m currently in Three Fates and remembering why this is one of my favorites. 💜

To Australia, to be there when my youngest grandson was born so I could spend actual time with him. Also, to Ireland anytime. And, back about 50 years to see my family again.

There are so many moments that I would want to go back to and make changes in my youth. I think the problem is that as miserable as it was, it would change the way my adult life has turned out. I’m stronger having survived my youth and wouldn’t want to risk losing my life now by going back to change something. In the end I think it’s better to live life day to day and be the best version of yourself that you can be.

So many tempting options, but I think I would like to go back and spend more time with my parents before they passed.

It's been a while since I read the trilogy, but I really enjoyed the 'special abilities' each of the characters had and how they used them. My wish would be to go back to spend time with my sister, who passed away at 17, when I was 10 years of age and make more memories.

Ms. Roberts , I just finished reading about the Quinn brothers , having read them when first published . I really enjoyed reading them the second time, your writing is so real . The family among each other and as a group made me long for a family life . Wish you would consider writing a book about Aubrey and Will and add Cameron and Anna's oldest boy . I would like to see how their lives and the family rebuild the boatyard , etc.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Ancient Greece. 😊

I would want to see Queen live, probably the Live Aid concert. 🙂

Something to see, but not interact with. I would like to see the Salem Witch trials, and find out if Mary Bradbury (a dual ancestress of mine) was pardoned, or if her husband really did help her escape. And while I was there, I could find out the last name at birth of Mehitable Bryant.

I really don’t know. There would be so many places I would love to venture to it would’ve been hard for me to pick, if given the choice.

Wow. That's a hard question to answer. I wouldn't even know what to choose. I love how Sawyer would give that gift to his friends.

A dream for an archeologist

I would like to see how the pyramids were actually constructed and what were their real purpose.

I like The way Sawyer and Riley bicker like brother and sister. I would like to visit Ireland, ancient castles.

Love the brother/sister dynamic of Riley and Sawyer! It would so be hard to decide where to go.

Great book

Back to before my son died so I could feel one of his wonderful hugs again.

This was the scene that threw me temporarily out of the book. He can't have gone to see Jackie Robinson at Dodger Stadium because Robinson had retired long before the Stadium opened in 1962. I'd love to have seen Jackie play in 1947 when he made his debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers.

I wouldn't want to go back in time but being able to travel anywhere anytime would be amazing. I could see the world!!!!

A lovely tropical island with my husband x

That was definitely a sort of

Back to spend one more day with my Mom.

Thinking about it probably nowhere. I think every time has its drawbacks

I know people like Doyle. Some of those who I know like this are what I would term observers. They really listen to others and comment when it is impactful. Sometimes the comments can seem harsh, but that is more my reaction to facing truthfulness for the situation and for myself. Doyle is a truth giver. He does try to soften his tone when needed and is an affectionate and loving person in this series. This shows that Nora does not write one dimensional characters! It is really a testament to her writing that she can fully flesh out a character like Doyle and make him multifaceted.

I’ve read this trilogy twice, it’s such an adventure!

I think Doyle is near the top of my favorite characters list. He’s the strong silent type. He’s been through more than any of the other characters because of his immortality and it weighs on him. But he’s also the best one to help them train because he has first hand knowledge of what multiple wars have been like

Definitely a man of few words, but when he speaks everyone listens x

There are a fascinating mix of people.

I am rereading this series now. It is one of my absolute favorites

Es verdad lo que dice, pero a veces hay que hablar solo por hablar. Algo sin sentido. Suelto. Sin motivo.

True 😃

I love this series

More people should take this approach

Interesting mix of characters in this first book of the trilogy

I need to re-read this. I've forgotten how much fun it was.

Having something to say really makes a good conversation

Wonderful story!!

Doyle is actually one of my favorite characters from this series. He has the most to work through because of all the years he has lived and all the situations he has lived through

Perfect

Yup I love that about him!

Doyle sees Sasha for who she is & respects that

He’s a man of few words, for sure!!!

Agreed lol

I like this line....he is who he is
