Calling all knitters, bone lovers and Geelong dwellers!! ANATOMY LESSONS by Michele Beevors (@WoollySkeletons) launches at the ⁠
@NationalWoolMuseum on Wednesday – and we reckon this exhibition is well worth a wander. ⁠

Just take a look at this very fine giraffe. No less than 4.4 metres high and covered in knitted spots, she's a sight to behold. She’s joined by all kinds of life-sized skeletons, each one crafted from steel, wire and foam, and featuring the most intricate knitted details. ⁠
⁠
Intermediate knitters can sign up for a masterclass with the Australian-born, New Zealand-based artist for a lesson on fur stitch and polypropylene knitting. You’ll leave with your very own frog skeleton. ⁠

To bring our first ‘Peppermint Pattern’ to life, we worked with renowned fashion educator, designer and consultant Thuy Nguyen of @fashion360au. Based in Brisbane, Thuy is known for her considered approach to body shapes and immaculate detail, so we knew that she was the one to perfectly draft our Tansey Top! ⁠

When we asked for her top tips for sewing this dreamy design, Thuy’s response was typically forthright: “Follow the instructions and don’t take shortcuts.” ⁠
