Welcome to the Moods Band, one of Sydney’s longest running bands with a versatility that is hard to match!

Established in the late 90’s, The Moods have built a quality reputation for their ability to play music that is appropriate for the various stages of an event – from whisper quiet jazz while guests converse with each other all the way to Aussie rock classics that lift the roof off the venue when the guests want to let their hair down! We help create the right atmosphere for the occasion and it is a common occurrence for guests to approach us at the end of the night to book us for their own event. The Moods have played literally thousands of performances, ranging from very small functions at private homes up to major jazz festivals such as the Manly Jazz Festival, Noosa Jazz Festival and Thredbo Jazz Festival. We can be as small or large as you would like us to be!.

Each band member is an accomplished and well-rounded musician in their own right, bringing a diverse range of musical experience to give The Moods an extraordinarily broad range of musical styles. How many bands out there can include a Louis Armstrong classic and a Beyonce hit in their repertoire without completely changing the band line up?!!
