About
Marianne's philosophy on art is that it should be simple and approachable. Born in 1988, Marianne grew up in a small-ish town on the mid north coast of NSW. A country girl at heart, her work is largely influenced by nature and imagination. The digital medium allows her to push the boundaries of reality and emphasise the colours that nature provides.
While her time studying Digital Media at the College of Fine Arts enabled her to develop her own unique style in digital art and design, she also discovered the joy of knitting and sewing as a way to balance her creativity on and off the computer. A mix of graphic design, illustration and photographic composites, her work is playful, colourful and simple.
