Unbelievably good golf course and experience in general. My wife and 2.5 year old son came with me and we were thrilled with the service from the staff in the resort and the pro shops.The pool area is a great for kids and to cool off in. Would definitely go back and highly recommend for any golf enthusiasts

An incredible golf experience. Marketed as the “Augusta of Australia” and to be honest I was a bit skeptical. But it truly is spectacular, a tough test but lots of fun! The staff are amazing and couldn’t fault the weekend. Even had my lost GPS returned to me by mail. Will definitely return again!

This is a fabulous golfing getaway location /experience. Just the dinner alone was well worth the tripFriendly staff and service extend from reception, restaurant, Pro shop. It is a well run operation.Sadly for us but gladly for the area, we drove from Sydney in pouring rain all day and brought it to Bonville which had seen rain for over 4 months.The deluge dropped inches of incessant rain on the area flooding the course.Consequently,we couldn't play golf which, of course, is the reason we went there.It was a long way to go for dinner.We have a rain check on the golf and will come back another time to experience the wonders of the golf course itself

I played with 3 friends on Monday after making the 4 hour trip from Brisbane. I have to say it was worth every second of travel. Prestige fairways and greens, rough actually played like rough. We saw a koala walking over the 8th green as we were teeing off on the beautiful par 3. Chris Kemp and the team were amazingly accommodating and understood it was a big deal for us to play there.Would do it again any day, absolutely the best course I’ve ever played.

My wife and I did the stay and play and had a great time. The course was immaculate, pure greens, spectacular fairways, the rough was rough and the waterhazards wet. But really a wonderful course to play. The food was loveley and the staff were attentive throughout our stay. I can't wait to come back.

Stayed and played 3 days (2nights) at Bonville. I’ve been fortunate enough to play at some great courses (not nearly enough though) and this place is top of the heap. It’s a great challenge for any level of golfer, the design is dramatic on almost every hole. If I had to pick my favourite holes it would be 4th, 15th, 17th and 18th. Well done to the greens staff for the care and maintenance.The stay was great, the food was of excellent quality and the staff are friendly and professional.

We had the most amazing stay at Bonville. The golf course was in excellent condition. Adrian, Lachie and the Pro-Shop staff were amazing, and so accommodating. The restaurant’s food was faultless and the service from Liz, Marie, Sonia, Nicole and the rest of the crew was second to none. Special shout-out to Chris for his on course food and beverage service. We cannot wait to come back!

I've heard this place referred to as the Augusta of Australia. Beautifully kept course that never fails to challenge, test and measure every golfer. The course today was also first class and the service, as always, was perfect!!! Only played nine which is a great afternoon. Visitors can only play Monday and Tuesday which is a shame but still a great course.

Great course, had a weekend full of rain. Course held up spectacularly. Stay in accommodation on the course, this could do with some love. Simple and easy works but for the course you would expect more.Staff very friendly and seem to really enjoy what they do. Will be back again.

The golf course was in fantastic condition as it always is. Stayed in the on course accommodation, which is comfortable for a short stay, and had two outstanding meals at the Spotted Gum resturaunt. Very freindly and helpfull staff. Had a really great all round experience.⛳🏌️‍♀️😁😁

Never disappoints, fantastic layout and in good conditionNot my first visit to Bonville but was one of the better ones. The weather played its part as well but the course was in very good condition, greens were true and pretty quick and fairways in good nick.The staff in the proshop, buggy shed were excellent and set the tone for a good day out. The only negative part of the day was the slow play, and a course marshall to hurry them along or let us play through would have been great.Will definitely go back and play again.

Played one of my favourite golf courses again recently. The scenery through out this course is spectacular, as each hole unfolds it displays it's unique beauty.The pro shop staff are very professional and help during all facets of both pre and post round.The practice facilities are excellent and consisted of a large putting green, greened driving range, chipping and bunker practice area.The fairways were in immaculate condition as were the greens that rolled very true but quick. The bunkers were also in excellent condition.I also enjoyed a post golf luncheon meal at the club house. Once again, the staff were very friendly and very service orientated.I very much enjoyed the day and looking forward to returning for another round at Bonville.

Bonville Golf Course is a MUST. SPECTACULAR COURSE, wide, long and challenging. The gardens are AMAZING. The Pro Shop won't let you down and the Restaurant serves great food with great service. The accommodation has big rooms, very comfortable. Can't wait to play there again.

I'd initially reviewed Bonville as 4 stars a while back. This was mainly due to their operational setup where it seems the golf course is managed semi-independantly from the restaurant and accomodation. And while I do think the accomodation could do with a refresh, I'd be lying to myself if I didn't give the course 5 stars.I'd give the course 6 stars if I could. It's just breathtaking. It is by far and away my favourite course in Australia. Yes I have played them all in the sandbelt. Played each of the Sydney big 4 many times. Barnbougle and Lost Farm? Yes those too. King Island? Done.Bonville is just simply stunning. It feels like you're not even in Australia. You're in a rain forest, far from civilisation. The back drops are incredible. The elevation changes are just stunning. Surrounded by white barked gums everywhere you look I feel like I'm lost in a massive forest in which incredible holes have been cut.Honestly I think that other than the 9th and the 13th, the other 26 holes could each genuinely be a signature hole an any course.The course is setup in such a way that is both very suitable to the adept golfer (5x par 5's that are reachable from the white with two good shots) while also offering many challenges such as uneven lies, water hasards, steep elevation changes and some black tees that you really need to see (hint: keep walking up and find the 11th back tee box).While this is very personal I must admit that I have become absolutely enamoured with the 15th hole which, on reflection, remains my favourite hole of all time. A dogleg right par 4 that demands less than driver off the tee and to avoid a strategically placed bunker as well as water long and right. This opens to an island green surrounded by lush vegetation that makes you ask "am I still in Australia?" This hole looks great from all angles and walking off with a green in regulation always feels rewarding.I'll close by saying that the restaurant's verranda, under the colonial style club house offers some of the best post-round views I've witnessed: 180° views allowing you to see Players tee off the 1st, try and hit the 18th in two and trying to get close to the tricky par 3 8th.I can't get enough of it.
