In Summer at night, Ventis Home Ventilation introduces the naturally cooler air outside the home, without the need to have doors or windows open. Getting a Ventis is the best thing we ever did My son and I are both asthma and allergy sufferers and we began looking at the Ventis system to relieve some of the symptoms. Living in an old double brick house that gets bitterly cold wasn't helping and we heard about this system that helped reduce allergens in the air and also used the warm air in the roof cavity to keep the house warm. Breathing easier, sleeping bettery We originally purchased a Ventis system to eradicate pollen and mould from our house to improve our asthmatic son's quality of life. The Ventis system has very effectively provided that.
An added benefit was the heating/cooling provided by circulating air from our ceiling cavity. After adding vents to the soffit on the shady side of our house, heating/cooling benefits have increased exponentially and the effectiveness has expanded well beyond the peak Spring/Autumn periods of the standard product.
Current daytime temperatures are often in the 30's, but The Ventis system is efficiently circulating afternoon/nighttime cooler air throughout the house from outside, providing a great environment for a good night's sleep. As a consequence, heating and cooling costs have dramatically decreased, with the need for aircon reduced to a couple of hours per day on only the hottest of sumer days
