St Arnaud Standpipe - Out of service
Reason: Relocation of standpipe
Starting: 2 May 2024
This standpipe will be relocated on Thursday 2 May from Preece Street to the corner of Reservoir Road and Kell Road, St Arnaud.
Once the St Arnaud standpipe relocation works are complete, the standpipe will be upgraded with new technology and the previous location on Preece Street will be decommissioned.
Standpipes are being upgraded with new technology, as the current swipe tag system and internal hardware has reached end-of-life. Following the upgrade, users will be able to access the standpipe with their user code and pin number, rather than a swipe card.

Pomonal Standpipe - Out of service

Starting: 12.30 pm, 20 February 2024
Currently, the Pomonal standpipe is out-of-order due to fire damage. Works to fix and upgrade the standpipe will begin the week of Monday 6 May 2024 with works due to be completed by the end of the week.
GWMWater is upgrading standpipes across our service region.
Standpipes are being upgraded with new technology, as the current swipe tag system and internal hardware has reached end-of-life. An upgrade to a user code and pin number system will ensure the standpipe system remains reliable for customer use.
Following the transition, users will be able to access the standpipe with a unique user code and pin number, rather than a swipe card.
