Dawson Balls Mark 3
Paul has been testing various ways of differentiating the new balls from the old ones. His long term plan will be make new moulds, but this will take time. Therefore, in the interim, the new balls will have a black circle marked inside the Dawson 2000 lettering. This black circle is drawn into the indented circle and so should last some time. Clubs are advised to monitor the marking and re-do it as necessary.
The secondary colours are currently in England being tested.

NSW GC State Open Singles.
Yesterday saw the exciting conclusion to the NSW GC Open Singles. Throughout the match there was little separating both players and fittingly, it was only decided on the 13th hoop in the 5th match. 7/5 -5/7 – 7/6 – 4/7 – 7/6
- Winner: Peter Landrebe
- Runner Up: Jamie Gumbrell
I believe this was Peter’s 9th success in the event.

East Fremantle Update – Coaching Sessions
Courtesy of David Fardon
East Fremantle has been lucky enough to have a series of coaching sessions in the last fortnight. We were visited by Team Reynolds, Kim & Megan to conduct a course on hooping setting with our new Quadway hoops and some Golf Croquet skills. Below, Megan is flat out capturing double tap shots on video. Over two further sessions Martin Clarke conducted GC skills & strategy coaching, the first session for new & less experienced players and a second session for more experienced players. All the sessions were well attended & received by members. Thank you to Martin, Megan & Kim - much appreciated.
