The Australia New Zealand Trauma Registry (ANZTR)
is a key component of the Australian Trauma Quality Improvement Program (AusTQIP).
The ANZTR collects in-hospital data from contributing sites on the most severely injured. As a leading clinical quality registry, the ANZTR provides risk adjusted outcomes on mortality and length of stay. The ANZTR now houses over 5 years of quality data for research purposes, and is currently recruiting more sites to collect population-level major trauma data across Australia and New Zealand. The ANZTR Portal, allowing contributing sites to make meaningful comparisons, is currently in production and will be trialled in early 2024.
