Century 21 Australia Rebrand

Working in partnership with Engaging Communications, Freddi Furlong conceptualised and designed the updated Century 21 'Smarter. Bolder. Faster.' brand and associated campaign. Freddi Furlong applied the design language across a large range of marketing and advertising collateral including a new website, press advertising, in-store promotional material, online advertising and agent specific collateral. The brand portrays Century 21 agents as a breed above, willing and able to do more for their clients. New agent-specific promotional material allows agents to better engage with their clients and leverage the new campaign (including TVCs). The website now includes a more intuitive search function and easier to use architecture.

In conjunction with its corporate re-brand, Century 21 launched an iPhone eSales app for its agents. The app allows agents to update internal eSales information remotely via the app, particularly while on-site with clients. Freddi Furlong designed the app interface, integrating the new brand.

Donna Hay Digital Design

Freddi Furlong and The Bowery successfully partnered to win the redesign and redevelopment of Donna Hay's new website and associated digital collateral. The new design is simple, modern and on-brand and the site integrates with the Donna Hay General Store to sell its extensive product range online. It is wrapped around a robust and easy to use CMS managed by Donna Hay staff, and houses an extensive searchable recipe resource. The new design extended to EDM templates and Facebook pages.

Fitness First Retail Campaign

In an effort to break free from lack-lustre internal branding, Freddi Furlong was asked to conceptualise and create a nation-wide promotion to increase product sales. The campaign was run in-store across digital screens, displays, posters and magazine advertising. It also included a sales based incentive for club managers promoted via EDM and mail. The successful campaign increased sales over the promotion period by 27%.

Tough Bloke Challenge Identity

Maximum Adventure is an event management company, creating and running outdoor 'extreme' style events. The Tough Bloke Challenge was a new style of event and needed an identity that would encourage the average person to sign-up for a tame army style assault course. The website plus print and online advertising saw an unprecedented uptake for a new Maximum Adventure event. The Tough Bloke Challenge is now one of the most successful events of its kind in Australia.

Coastrek Website Design

Coastrek is a 50km and 100km team trekking event along Sydney's coastline to raise money for the Fred Hollows Foundation. Coastrek asked Freddi Furlong to design a more appealing and usable online interface for its clients. Partnering with Tipping Point, Freddi Furlong implemented new architecture, design, a team entry and processing system and integration with the Fred Hollows Foundation fundraising system. The site was launched this year and has been their most successful event yet, raising almost $1 million for the Fred Hollows Foundation.

Freddi Furlong has enjoyed a business partnership with Maximum Adventure for several years as it has built a collection of extremely successful outdoor events. Over that time Freddi Furlong has worked on each of Maximum Adventure's event brands, conceptualising, designing and producing websites, print and online marketing material, and event collateral. Maximum Adventure's websites are its primary source of promotion, information and participant management, and have assisted it to become Australia's premiere outdoor event management company.

Century 21 Property Mogul Marketing Campaign

Freddi Furlong conceptualised and produced a marketing campaign for Century 21 associated with its new online real estate / social networking game. The concept was light hearted in its approach and teased the viewer to find out more. Using online and print media with PR pieces on major networks and print publications, the game generated a lot of interest and provided an innovative marketing tool for Century 21.

Australian 18 Footers League Website

The '18 Footers' is a small club with a large reputation situated over the water at Double Bay. It is the home of 18 foot skiff sailing and racing on Sydney Harbour. Freddi Furlong managed the development of a new website including development of the information architecture and production of the interface design. The new site allows for easy updating, automatic publishing of race results and photos, online promotions and appealing visual design and usability. Patronage and new memberships have increased dramatically since the introduction of the site.

Post Logistics was formerly the logistics arm of Australia Post. Freddi Furlong created an information based brochure for Post Logistics to help promote its service, systems and infrastructure in order to assist it to compete with multinational logistics companies.

For the recent 'I'm Wrappt' campaign, Freddi Furlong produced the accompanying online Flash banners. The banners incorporated the campaign collateral in an animated format that encourages users to click through for more information. Banners were sized in several variations and implemented across various sites including AAPT's own website.

Freddi Furlong designed the user interface for PayPal's online aggregator that collects shopping deals from trusted PayPal businesses around the world. The interface was designed in keeping with the PayPal brand: simple and easy to use, but still incorporating a 'market plaza' feel.

Skimax Digital Design

Skimax sells ski packages and skiing holidays and its website is its most important sales and information tool. Freddi Furlong and The Bowery developed a brand new site, providing an easy to use and manage front-end and back-end. The interface design included more engaging imagery to encourage an emotional response and stimulate enquiries. The new website accompanied by online banner advertising has produced a sizeable increase in online enquires and sales.

Queensland Government Translink Cartography

Translink is the transport arm of the Queensland Government. Freddi Furlong incorporated Translink's existing transport route system into a range of cartographical solutions including: a stylised bus network map; a comprehensive train network map; detailed area maps; and standardised iconography. The maps are clear and concise with standardised design elements across the suite. They are easy to read and use and have reduced timetable and route queries, freeing up staff for other duties.

Joining the recent influx of discounted online wine sales, Wine Deals Online needed a website that portrayed it as a more authentic wine retailer. It portrays Wine Deals Online as a credible and knowledgeable retailer and not just a warehouse.
