Peter Cousens is currently
Artistic Director
of the
Talent Development Project.
Peter is a creative facilitator and mentor of emerging contemporary singer songwriters and performers and an actor, singer, producer, director, teacher and film director. He advocates for the wellbeing of emerging creative artists and for their music as an undeniable force for good. He foundered the musical theatre company Kookaburra and played the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera on London's West End for eleven months. He starred alongside Russel Crowe in Blood Brothers, and the late Richard Harris in Camelot. Peter also produced and directed the feature film FREEDOM starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and William Sadler and has had an extensive career playing major roles in musicals throughout Australia, New Zealand and England..see more
