Tamar Valley Wine RouteTamar Valley’s wine trail is renown for its famous pinot noirs, rieslings and chardonnays and Yorktown Manor is right in the middle of it! Most wineries offer free tastings so if you like a drop (or two) you’ve come to the right place. It’s worth it for the scenic drive alone.

Greens Beach
If all the wineries and relaxing gets too much, Greens Beach offers a great place to swim. Just ten minutes away, it’s perfect for a romantic stroll, adventures with the kids or 18 holes at Greens Beach golf course.

Beaconsfield – historic gold mining town
Well known for its historic gold mine (especially after a tragic mine collapse in 2006), ‘Beaky’ (as the locals call it) also has plenty more to offer. There’s classic old pubs, bakeries and shops, and at the petrol station, they still put petrol in for you!
