How
it works ...
to empty the 240 litre wheelie bin
 |
The
bin tipper is located against the open skip. The brakes are engaged
and the cradle is lowered to ground level. The double doors are
then opened to allow wide access to the cradle for wheeling the
bin straight in. Note: The machine will not operate when the doors are open. |
The bin is wheeled in (no need to lift or physically attach the bin to the cradle) until it is prevented from moving any further forward by the catches on the cradle floor. The bin is held in place by the two wheel-catches which cover the wheels to hold the bin in place during the emptying process. |
The
doors are closed, the operator is located safely at the control
panel and the 240 litre wheelie bin is emptied in the standard manner. |

The
bin is wheeled into place. The catches which hold the 240 litre
bins do not interfere with the 660 litre bin. |
The
rear holding mechanism will automatically lock the 660 litre bin
into position on the cradle when the bin is wheeled into position. |
The 660 litre bin is held against the locking bar at the front of the cradle. The lip of the 660 litre bin sits under the locking bar. This bar does not interfere with the opening of the lid of the 660 litre bin during the emptying process. |
The
doors are closed, the operator is located safely at the control

The 660 litre bin is held in place at the back of the bin and cannot roll backwards during operation... (Note: operation was stopped to open the doors for this photograph). |
As the bin begins to invert it is held in place against the locking bar at the front of the cradle. |

As the bin fully inverts the lid opens to discharge product or rubbish... |
The
bin is not powered down but is lowered by gravity. This action can
be stopped immediately by opening the door, by the operator removing
his/her finger from the up/down control button.
