5 Simple Steps to Compliance
Choose to do as much or as little as you have time and resources for, and as your independent workplace safety adviser we will provide you with customised written policies & plans, safety manuals, relevant Safe Work Method Statements/Safe Operating Procedures for the tools & machines you & your workers use, Job Risk Assessment systems, WHS Act guidance, training and ongoing maintenance of your new safety system.
Every business, no matter how large or small, must have an WHS Safety Management System and an Emergency Evacuation Plan in place which must be reviewed regularly to fully comply. Even one-man sole traders must have an effective WHS system in place to be able to prove, if necessarilly in court, that they are meeting their Duty of Care and that they are doing everything "reasonably practicable" to ensure a safe workplace. After an accident or safety incident involving injury or death it can be very difficult to prove you were meeting your safety obligations with Due Diligence without having adequate documentation as evidence of your efforts.
Let us help you fully comply with your increased duties & obligations while you get on with running your business.
Five Simple Steps to your Certificate of WHS Compliance:
1. A walk-through workplace safety inspection to assess your current compliance with WHS Act & Regulations. We take digital photos of your machines, tools & equipment which will be included in your customised Safety Management System.
2. Set up and agree with you a program to improve your workplace safety compliance.
3. Write a customised WHS Safety Management Plan to best suit your business activities. Our WHS Safety Plans are usually 200 to 400+ pages, printed on A4 paper (with your business name is on every page) and put in loose-leaf plastic sleeves into two attractive binders with the files copied onto the CD's held conveniently in pockets on the front of each binder. Our Safety Management Plans and Safety Compendium include all the blank forms you need, Policies & Procedures, Safety Instructions, Safe Work Method Statements and Job Risk Assessments suitable for the equipment you use and the activities your business undertakes.
4. Train and guide your business in WHS activities and best practice safety management.
5. Monitor, measure and maintain your new management system and help you fully comply with your obligations. Provide you with your Certificate of WHS Compliance which you can use on your website or when you tender for work with large safety conscious companies and increasingly stringent Local Councils.
