Trol-A-Temp's
newest parallel blade damper is the ZD series damper. These new dampers have
been designed to provide long life, silent operation and require zero
maintenance.
These
dampers are made from 20 gauge-extruded aluminium and have a minimum number of
moving parts. The new 3" wide blades move smoothly from open to close
with minimal friction and are operated by a powerful 24Volt, spring return
motor actuator.
The
ZD series of dampers are available in even sizes from 8"x 8" up to
30"x 24". All sizes will be available in both side mount and bottom
mount variations. The design of the ZD allows it to be mounted in any position
and angle.
The
ZD comes complete and ready for installation. The motor and linkage are
factory assembled to the damper. All you need is to install the damper and
wire to the control panel.

The
ZD dampers easily insert into the side or bottom of the duct by simply cutting
a 4" slot in the duct, then inserting the damper and securing the damper
to the duct with the provided sheet metal screws. All ZD dampers are
1/8" under their listed size for an easy fit.
