A quick history
2002
Uni buddies create new business, Valmount.
The two original partners, Marcel Zalloua and Sergio Pires, join forces while still at university to create a new business venture named ‘Valmount’.
2004
A change of name.
Valmount becomes Valmont. A change of name but no change of heart, as the two begin to develop their capabilities.
2010
Projects being delivered Australia wide.
Valmont is now a strong, national team with a wide range of successful projects under its belt. Offices are open in most states and territories.
2011
Growing but remaining a tight team.
The company continues to expand building its capabiltiies in project administration, estimating, contracting and site management.
2018
Becoming part of something bigger.
Valmont becomes part of The Intelligent Consulting Group, a collective of experienced industry professionals with a vision to shake the Design and Construction industries up.
2019
Joining forces with a respected sister.
The respected design consultancy Geyer is acquired by The Intelligent Consulting Group (ICG) and becomes sister company to Valmont, and a powerful partnership is born.
2022
United in partnership.
The design and delivery teams are fully aligned, giving both a unique level of insight and collaboration from project inception to handover. Our parent company, ICG changes to Placewell Group.
