Along with our international head office in Melbourne, Australia, we have offices located throughout mainland Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia. TR Corporation also has authorised channel partners for selected product ranges in locations as diverse as the US, Poland and South America.

Each country has a distribution model to suit the local market. In Australia and New Zealand, the group’s six brands are all represented, whilst Malaysia is represented by test and measurement, and calibration exclusively. The 30 plus TR branches located throughout the Asia Pacific region have business development teams for each brand, and experienced technical installation and service staff to provide after-sales support.

TechRentals was established in Australia in 1972 as a distributor and repairer of test and measurement equipment. Over the years, the company expanded to New Zealand and Malaysia, creating the region’s largest test equipment rental organisation.

In 2005, TR Corporation was formed, with the goal of building a unique group offering a range of complimentary technical solutions to our wide commercial and government customer base. TR acquired a number of successful and compatible businesses to join TechRentals in comprising the TR group, including Hirecom, VMS and Vidcom. In all, more than ten unique medium sized businesses have joined the group since May 2005. The acquisition program has seen TR Corporation grow to become the Asia Pacific region’s most dynamic technology solutions group with vast capacity to provide a diverse range of solutions to large commercial and government clients.
