The Swim4Autism 5 Hour Challenge is a fundraising event that supports Giant Steps Sydney. Giant Steps is a Registered Charity DGR 32778

How does it work?

Swimmers are invited to swim as many laps as they can - one or twenty, every contribution is appreciated. Each participant needs to arrange personal sponsorship for their swim, with sponsors typically signing up to provide a one-off contribution.

As a community event, there are options for everyone to be involved, regardless of their swimming prowess. Your support has enabled us to raise a total of $500,000 over the past 11 years.

How do you get involved?

  1. 1.Register for the event by sending an email to k@fexis.com in accordance with the registration page. This will ask you to nominate time slots you are able to swim so we can avoid crowding in the pool.

  2. 2.Register on this site and your will then be asked to set up a supporters page on everydayhero. You just have to direct your sponsors to your everydayhero page.

  3. 3.Start collecting personal sponsors who will donate money to you for swimming in the Swim4Autism 5 Hour Challenge. Your sponsors can either donate money per lap you swim or simply give you a straight out donation. You can also download the Fundraising Form to collect sponsors. Fundraising form.pdf

  4. 4.You can direct your sponsors the the Swim4Autism website to make a donation.

  5. 5.After the swim, if necessary, collect your donations.
