SYCAMORE (Systemised Contracts and Agreements Register) A Microsoft Windows based application for managing Contracts and Agreements, it incorporates a relational database and a Windows-based user interface to provide a flexible and powerful, yet relatively simple to use tool for the enterprise. Incorporating email, Sycamore allows for the automatic scheduling of "events", whereby a contract manager, their supervisor or anybody for that matter, can be prompted to undertake certain actions for an Agreement. Escalation allows for the handling of those events not actioned in the appropriate timeframe. The establishment of Action Styles and Auto Actions allows for predefined events to be created automatically once an agreement has been registered. This takes the onus off the Contract Manager to remember to create the appropriate events when registering an agreement for the first time. Against a single Agreement, Sycamore allows for the recording of a Contract Manager, a Contractor, Lease Details (if applicable), Insurance Policies, Securities, Associated Documents and other items of significance. An
inbuilt security model allows for the ability to group staff members into
"user groups". These user groups can then be assigned to "classifications".
These classifications can then be attached to individual Agreements leaving
the software to establish who can see or change agreements, based upon
their privileges. Individuals may have the ability to change certain agreements
and the ability to only view certain other agreements. They may have the
ability to neither view nor change certain agreements. This powerful model
allows the site to provide a manageable and usable access mechanism to
their agreement register. |
