YOU request when and where you want – We will find the nearest Skippers Ticket trainer to you*.
EVERY DAY we have trainers at boat ramps, marinas etc around WA*.
Skippers Ticket courses take approximately 2.5 – 3 hours if you have studied the Workbook well and can handle the boat safely (it’s NOT a skill test – its more about safety). Our patient team will take you through the practical – all our students tell us that is the fun part!

How we do it
You arrive at the ramp, meet the trainer, sit in our Woodman Point classroom, sit on a bench at the water’s edge, or even sit on the boat and do the 40 question multiple-choice test. It takes most people 20-30 minutes.
When you have passed – (and you WILL if you have studied the workbook and read our extra study notes) you get in the boat and get guided through the practical by our trainer assessor. The assessor will demonstrate, you will practice, and when your training is over, you get assessed. Passing students receive an Interim Skippers Ticket Certificate on the day.
