Sewerage Pumps - Pool Pumps & Filters - Hotwater Circulating Pumps

Pressure Systems
* Keep in mind, that the "mains pressure" you get at your house, is generated by a large industrial pump system and that different areas of your city get different pressures.

* eg - In Sydney, Brookvale gets around 1000kpa, while Bondi gets only 250kpa so when asking for a pump to do "like mains pressure", please be aware that the price for your requested pressure may increase dramatically.

* Download this info sheet to help collect the right info.

* "Horsepower" is almost irrelevant to performance and pressure.

Fish Ponds & Water Features
* The volume of a fish pond should be turned over around 12 times per day as a general rule while a water feature may only require 4 - 6 times per day.
* Filters include UV and sand, and are readily available.

Sump Pumps
* Stormwater pumps, are different to clean water / sub soil pumps, which are also different to pumps for sandy, gritty water applications.

* The size of the pit your pump requires, is very important to ensure it "DOES NOT CYCLE" on and off which burns the motor out [which is not covered by warranty]. Basically, the bigger the pit, the better.

* We will be happy to work out the correct pump and pit size for you.

Sewerage Pumps
* Pumping sewerage is a liitle more technical than other pump
applications, so please call us for the right advice.

Pool Pumps & Filters
* Pool pumps and filters should be matched together for best performance
while also being matched to the pool volume, not just based on "horse power".

Hotwater Circulating Pumps
* Most of these pumps require a dedicated "return" line to the heat source
however, we can supply a pump to fit your existing installation, as long as it is a "storage type hot water heater and your hot and cold water pressures are equal. Download this brochure for more info.
