Property & Land is owned and operated by Ian David.

Ian has over 30 years experience in the property industry.

Ian’s early years were in rural South Australia where he was involved with family cropping and grazing operations. Ian commenced his career in the property industry in 1985 with the leading commercial property firms in Adelaide, South Australia, where he attained broad experience and professional training in valuation, leasing, sales and technical analysis of commercial, industrial and retail property.

Ian moved to Asia, where he became a specialist in major project valuation and feasibility assessment with a focus on project planning, financial analysis, financing and sales and acquisition. Markets included Jakarta, Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo and Bangkok. Ian became a Partner and later Regional Director of Jones Lang LaSalle, the world’s largest real estate money management company.

Ian returned to Australia to reside and establish Property & Land in Queensland in 2001. He has worked in the pastoral, agricultural, commercial and residential sectors, specialising in project planning, feasibility assessment and development and valuation and acquisition for major projects, particularly mining, petroleum and gas and infrastructure resumptions.

Ian has worked extensively throughout regional and remote Queensland and New South Wales in locations such as Townsville, Bowen, Collinsville, MacKay, Moranbah, Clermont, Alpha, Gladstone, Arcadia Valley, Moura, Roma, Dalby, Miles, Wandoan, Injune, Taroom, Chinchilla, Surat, Broken Hill, Hunter Valley, Wagga Wagga, and Newcastle (NSW).

Ian holds the following professional qualifications :-

• Bachelor of Business in Property (Valuation & Real Estate), University of South Australia
• Associate of the Australian Property Institute
• Certified Practising Valuer
• Licensed Valuer QLD & NSW
• Licensed Real Estate Agent (QLD)
