HDMI output - No Signal :S
Hello all.
I am a new owner of the PCH A-100. Got it yesterday, open it and installed a local HDD. Connected the HDMI cable and power cord. Boot it up, and after the "popcorn hour loading" screen, it just went blank, and no signal was showing on my 32" 32LG3000 LCD TV. Hmm i thought, connected a composite cable and disconnected the HDMI, and reboot it. Now i got a picture. Did the setup and installed the NMT applications. Set the output to 720p50Hz (live in Denmark, default is 50Hz). Shutdown the PCH and connected the HDMI cable again, without the composite. The loading screens shows again, and then it just goes blank. Switch it to Automode, still no picture. Tried every input on the teli (it has 3) no succes. Tried switching the HDMI cable with one i KNOW is working, cus its connected to my DVD player, still no signal. I feel like i am running out of luck, and I dont have a component cable laying around. What to do ? Thank you all in advance, Kenny |

RE: HDMI output - No Signal :S
The problem could be that you set it to 720p50Hz for Component which is of course what you would do. But then you connect the HDMI and it starts the auto negotiation process again. I have found problems with the new firmware which means that I have to press the TV mode key then the 0 key at least 3 times before I get auto mode on my HDMI. Just press that key combination but make sure you wait at least 2 seconds between the two keys i.e. press TV mode, wait 2 seconds then press 0 key, then wait about 5 seconds to see if anything happens. Try this up to 5 times.

RE: HDMI output - No Signal :S
You should take a look at the specifications for your television (in the manual or google the model name + specifications) to find out exactly what resolutions and frame rates it supports.
I think there is a chance that for HDMI you need to set it to 1080p50 instead of 720p50. Just a guess though. Media tank:A-100 & C-200 TV:Panasonic TH-50PY800MT (HDMI) Audio:Logitech Z-5500 (Coaxial) |
