Dr Venjie

Growing up in Malaysia, Venjie's love towards animals drove her to begin her studies abroad in Sydney to become a veterinarian. She graduated from Sydney University in 2022 and has since established herself as a friendly vet in Western Sydney.

Venjie has a keen interest to aid all animals including those with scales and feathers as well all our beloved furry friends.

Louise

Louise is the practice manager and part owner of Mt Druitt Veterinary Clinic. She graduated from Ultimo Tafe in 1995 and is a qualified Veterinary Nurse, completed her RPL and upgraded to a Cert IV veterinary nurse certificate in 2019. She has also recently earned a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology degree from Charles Sturt University in 2023.

Louise started work and training in her career at Riverstone Veterinary Hospital. After graduating she wanted to gain more experience in her mother country of England and travelled back there and back again. She has worked at Mt Druitt vets for 26 years since 1998.

She travelled and gained extensive nursing experience in England and Denmark before working in England in 1998. She even dabbled in 6 months of horticulture work, was married in 1999, and returned to Australia to stay.

Louise has a perfect track record of having the "magic touch", by not letting any cheeky patients bite any vet she is working with. She has trained more than 20 nurses throughout her career. She intends to keep training nurses for the best and most practical veterinary nurse care for our patients.

Louise has a friendly Heinz-beans breed dog named "Ellie", a rescued blind dog named “Enzo”, 3 lovely boys, and a husband. She has taken home and cared for stick insects, blue tongue lizards, turtles, galahs, budgies, cats and dogs and more...

She enjoys socialising, swimming, helping out others and their pets, and of course anyone that knows her knows she LOVES to clean.

Lauren

Lauren is a veterinary nurse and began working with us for 10 years since 2013 as a work experience student of Certificate 2 in Animal Studies, graduating in 2014 with her Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing from Richmond Tafe.

Lauren has always been passionate about animals and their welfare. She knew from an early age that she wanted to help animals when she 'grew up’.

At home, Lauren has a red cattle cross named “Ashy”, and has rescued a beloved and stunning Ragdoll cross cat named "Jade" (pictured).

Keren

Keren is a trainee veterinary nurse with Mt Druitt Veterinnary Clinic. Growing up, Keren has always been surrounded by an array of animals- from owning multiple childhood pets at home to her grandmother’s farm overseas. Keren has many fond memories with animals big and small. As a child she knew she wanted to help animals for a living and that passion has only grown with her.

In her spare time, Keren likes to read, go on spontaneous adventures and most importantly nap.

At home, Keren has a very cheeky Dalmatian named Theo and a sweetie pie English Springer spaniel named Lily (who puts up with the ruckus that is Theo).
